Upon first impression, August appears approachable, friendly, warm, and easy to interact with. He's serious when the situation calls for it, but also personable with a touch of reservation and respect. He's also observant; he reads people with practiced ease and finds a path to navigate through most social situations with success.He does have a social battery and enjoys his time spent alone to recharge, but he's also no stranger to total isolation. He's ghosted people before.While it's an impressive feat to upset August, understand that charming smiles and handsome grins still demand balance, and just as easily as he can brighten a room, so can he burn it down. He can be temperamental and volatile, and if one manages to make it onto his bad side, understand that he rarely ever forgives.

[PAST] • There's history going back as far as eight years of August Yaeger living in Eorzea, at least if you were to ask around by description. During that time, he'd been formerly known as Felix and performed various duties and obligations, especially within the Shroud and La Noscea agricultural spaces. Anywhere from a hired hand, seasonal worker, or temporary hire to criminal work, combatant, and smuggler.Not every bad story has a good start, but for his first two years in Eorzea, he and his family managed "honest living" as illegal residence of a Chocobo Farm in beautiful Gridania. Good times were cut short when a fire brought low the farm, and in that time, August lost three members of his family and was forced to relocate elsewhere.So it was to the humid island of La Noscea where August managed to find longer-term employment Chocobo Training, with birds sent in from Dravanian Hinterlands for the Maelstrom Grand Company. There, he made lasting connections, but after an incident in Thanalan August changed his alias and once again relocated. When you're a wanted man, everyone knows your face.From there, using recently made connections, August managed to secure seasonal employment in the Dravanian Hinterlands wrangling Chocobo for training and breeding at the Tailfeather Chocobokeep.

[PRESENT] • August can be found working at two locations. He has part-time work as a Chocobo Handler in La Noscea's Farmland and seasonal work in Dravanian Hinterlands, where he wrangles wild Chocobo for breeding and steed training, specifically for male birds sent to the Grand Companies of Eorzea.He lives in an old, run-down, refurbished Chocobo stable in Tailfeather, and an old beach shack in the Mists of Limsa Lominsa, traveling by land and airship to both. He has a preference for the cold and rigid rather than the breezy and humid, no matter his fondness for the ocean.As for family, he visits his younger hyur-appaering half-sister in Lower Limsa Lominsa as she furthers her education in aetheric studies as a non-practicing Scholar. She has dreams of attending Sharlayan as a student there, and August supports her where he can. She is largely self-sufficient.He presently owns two retired Chocobo, respectively named Duke [♂] and Duchess [♀] that stay with him in the Hinterlands.He'll occassionally accept work as a deck-hand, cargo stock, or even fisherman depending on who knows to ask. These jobs allow him access to travel across the world but thus far his journey has been slow. He'd like to visit Kugane sometime and Tuliyollal next.
